    I have owned a FlexIt red mat zapper for 14 months at the time of writing my review, and it is honestly one of the best investments I have made in grooming gear. This brush has paid for itself several times over in dematting fees. It is perfect for saving matted ears and tails which aren't quite bad enough to shave off, but the regular slicker brush isn't able to brush out. It's not a brush that gets used on every dog, but when I need to use it nothing else compares. Be sure to follow use instructions carefully as the firm bristles are no joke.
