Please view our video below.

Firstly, if you do not have an account on The Hounds Coat website, ie you checked out as a guest last time, you will need to create one in order to redeem your points.

Next, sign into your account at the top right of the Homepage. Then go to the bottom right of the Homepage and click on the PP Rewards launcher to open the PP Rewards panel.

Click on All Rewards. If you don't have enough points to redeem, you will see a progress bar on the right next to the reward name.

Upon clicking on the Redeem button you will be taken to a page that shows the coupon code with a button to Apply the code which will automatically apply that coupon code to the checkout.

Your coupon code will also be emailed to you if you would like to use it at another time.

Yes you will, however you will not be able to redeem your PP Rewards without first signing up for a customer account. The great thing is, just by signing up you will earn an additional 250 PP Points!

We sure can, as long as both accounts are yours (ie one under personal email and the other under your business email). Please get in touch and let us know the details for each account and we will do a manual transfer. Both accounts will still exist but the points will show against your preferred account

You must enter your birthday into PP Rewards at least 30 days in advance to be rewarded. If you have just signed up for PP Rewards and your birthday lands within a 30 day timeframe, please contact us and we will add this reward manually. We promise you will automatically be awarded next year,

NB: This is a special reward, so limit of 1 per year applies :).

Scissors/Shears

Ensuring your scissors or shears are correctly tensioned is
an important part of scissor care.  To tension your scissors, hold your scissors by the thumb ring with your left hand. Let the scissor point straight up in the air at 12 O’clock. With your right hand take the finger ring and open the blades so they are open about 45 degrees. Now let go of the ring/blade in your right hand so the scissor almost closes by itself. When the blade comes to rest there should be a gap between the two tips of approximately 1/4", or the ten to the hour position.  I have attached a video for those of you who are more visual like myself.
