Wahl’s 2 in 1 E-Z combines a nail clipper and a grinder into one efficient and effective tool! It is a must have for groomers, whether they are professional or home users. The clipper itself features a safety guide to ensure that the nails are not cut too short and the grinder, located in the handle, runs on a single AA battery. Using the clipper, simply remove as much of the nail as possible. Finish by using the rotary nail file to shape the nail precisely and remove any jagged or sharp edges. It is a very easy to use model and runs quietly to ease even the most nervous of pets getting their nails groomed. The pack is complete with a spare grinder tip and an AA battery included.

Directions: Check nails to locate the interior blood vessel (“quick”). On light-coloured nails, the “quick” is easily seen inside the broad base of the nail. On dark nails, it can be seen on the nail’s underside. Be sure to avoid clipping into the “quick”.

Hold the pet’s paw securely with one hand and the clipper should be in the other hand. With the clipper facing toward you, squeeze the handles together and slide the small lever located near the coil spring. Sliding the lever to the left will unlock the clipper so you can clip the nails. Position the claw into the clipper opening using the blade guide as needed. clip off a little of each nail.

To finish off your pet’s nail, use the grinder located at the bottom of one of the handles, gently going over the nail get achieve a smooth finish.

If bleeding occurs, use styptic liquid/powder. If you experience trouble, ask your pet supply dealer, groomer, or veterinarian for advice on nail clipping.
